System requirements
What the software needs. The trial is the honest test — sixty days, no card, on your own machine.

What actually determines performance
Not the processor, in most cases. The two things that decide whether a session runs smoothly are your audio buffer size and the plugins you load. A modest machine at 256 samples handles more than a fast one at 64.
A single badly written plugin can consume more than the rest of a project combined. If a session struggles, bypass plugins one at a time before blaming the hardware — the culprit is usually one of them.
About the App Store version
The Mac App Store build hosts AudioUnit only. This is not a decision we made: the App Store sandbox cannot load arbitrary binaries from disk, which is what VST3 hosting requires. If you need VST3 on macOS, download directly from this site.
