What we collect, why we collect it, and how to make us stop.

Last updated 4 September 2026

The short version

We collect your email address, what you bought, and which machines your licence runs on. We do not sell any of it, we do not run advertising trackers, and the software does not report what you make with it.

Who is responsible

Pryzmat, ul. Kolumbijska 10, 01-991 Warszawa, Poland. Questions about your data go to biuro@dawrazor.com and we answer within thirty days, which is the limit the GDPR gives us.

What we collect and why

Your email address. Needed to send your licence key, your invoice and sign-in codes. Without it we cannot deliver what you bought.

Purchase details. Amount, currency, country and date. We are required to keep these for tax purposes — in most of Europe for five years or more, which is why deleting your account does not delete them.

Machine identifiers. When you activate a licence, the app sends an identifier derived from your hardware. It is a one-way value: we cannot reconstruct your serial numbers, disk contents or anything else from it. It exists solely to count how many machines a licence runs on.

Server logs. IP addresses and request paths, kept for a short period to find faults and abuse.

What the software does not do

Razor Studio does not send us your projects, your audio, your plugin list or anything about what you are working on. The only thing it contacts our servers about is the licence, and only when activating or re-checking it — roughly once a month.

The AI features process material on your machine. Where a feature would need to send anything to a server, the app says so before it does, and you can decline.

Who else sees your data

  • Stripe — payments. They see your card details; we never do.
  • Amazon Web Services — servers and file delivery, in the EU.
  • ImprovMX — forwarding for our contact address.
  • Google Analytics — which pages are visited, in aggregate.
  • Microsoft Clarity — how pages are used, with text masked.

Nobody else. We do not sell data, we do not use advertising networks on this site, and we do not work with data brokers.

Cookies and analytics

Two cookies are strictly necessary: one keeps you signed in, one protects forms against cross-site request forgery. Neither tracks you.

We also use Google Analytics to see which pages people visit and where they arrive from, and Microsoft Clarity to see where people get stuck — which buttons are missed, where scrolling stops. Neither runs until you agree.

Clarity records how a page is used: mouse movement, clicks, scrolling.Text is masked — licence keys, addresses and anything you type are hidden from the recording. We can see that someone struggled with a form; we cannot see what they wrote in it.

We do not use advertising networks on this site, and nobody pays us to show you anything.

How long we keep things

  • Sign-in codes: fifteen minutes, then they stop working.
  • Account and licence data: while your account exists.
  • Purchase records: as long as tax law requires, regardless of account deletion.
  • Server logs: a short period, then discarded.
  • Session recordings: thirty days, then deleted by Microsoft.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Write to biuro@dawrazor.com. We will not make you prove your identity beyond what is needed to be sure it is you.

If we handle it badly, you may complain to your national data protection authority. In Poland that is the Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych.

Where your data lives

Our servers are in Stockholm. Stripe operates internationally and may process payment data outside the EU under the safeguards their own terms describe.
