Terms

What you agree to when you buy Razor Studio, and what we agree to in return.

Last updated 4 September 2026

Who you are dealing with

Razor Studio is operated by Pryzmat, ul. Kolumbijska 10, 01-991 Warszawa, Poland. VAT PL5422721434. You can reach us at biuro@dawrazor.com.

What you are buying

A licence to use Razor Studio. Not the software itself — the copyright stays with us. The licence is perpetual: the version you hold keeps working after your update period ends, with no time limit and no feature switched off.

One licence covers three machines at once. You may install on more, but only three may be activated at any moment. Releasing a seat is done in the app and takes seconds.

What is included for twelve months

Every update we release during the twelve months following your purchase, including new features. After that the software continues to work exactly as it did; you simply stop receiving new versions unless you renew.

Renewal is optional. Choosing not to renew costs you nothing you already have.

What you may not do

  • Resell, rent or sublicense the software.
  • Share your licence key outside the three activated machines.
  • Remove or work around the licensing system.
  • Reverse engineer the software, except where law permits it regardless of what this document says.

Music you make with Razor Studio is entirely yours. We claim no rights to it, ask for no credit and take no share of anything you earn from it. This applies to commercial releases as much as to anything else.

Trial

The sixty-day trial is the complete software with nothing switched off. When it ends, projects you made remain openable — we do not hold your work hostage to a purchase.

What we do not promise

Software has faults. We fix the ones we find and the ones you report, but we cannot promise the program is free of them, nor that it will run on every combination of hardware, driver and plugin in existence.

Our liability is limited to what you paid for the licence. This limit does not apply where law forbids it — which in most of Europe includes death, personal injury and our own gross negligence.

Keep backups of your work. This is not a disclaimer, it is advice: no audio software is immune to a crash at the wrong moment.

Ending the licence

We may end your licence if you break these terms in a way that matters — sharing keys at scale, for example. We will tell you why and, where the breach can be undone, give you a chance to undo it. Ending a licence for a minor or accidental breach without warning would be unreasonable and we will not do it.

Changes

We may change these terms for future purchases. The version in force when you bought is the version that governs your purchase — changes do not apply backwards.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer in the EU, you keep the protections of your own country's law and may bring a claim before your local courts — nothing here takes that away.

Before either of us goes near a court, write to biuro@dawrazor.com. Nearly everything is solvable that way.
